Dawn M. Keddy

Focused on writing Upmarket Contemporary Fiction, Dawn Keddy writes stories based on real-life events, adding the element of believability that enhances her credibility.

Keddy's studies span a spectrum of concentrations including a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing (2026 exp.), a Master's Certificate in Professional Writing, a Bachelor's Degree in Social and Criminal Justice, and Associate Degrees in Automotive Technology, Information Technology, and Criminal Justice.

Keddy has a strong background in social services. She served as a Community Services Manager for a non-profit organization whose mission was to provide independent living services and access modifications to people with disabilities and the elderly.

She founded My Invisible Life of Equity (MILE), a non-profit 501c3 initiative she is developing. Built on the premise of promoting equitable independence for people with invisible disabilities, the concept promises to lift up a significant marginalized population of able-bodied, underemployed individuals.

Keddy is an artistic and skilled writer of both fiction and non-fiction narratives, poems, and lyrics. She’s a singer and songwriter, a guitarist, a woodswoman, and a certified personal trainer. Hungry to learn and eager to teach, she’s a perpetual student, a mentor, an overachiever, and an optimist.

She has a quirky sense of humor and enjoys writing about the odd, the hilarious, and the downright bizarre side of human nature.

Keddy has written numerous editorials for hometown newspapers, and unpublished short stories, and is presently working on her thesis novel, Every One of Me.
